Zona Sul is a medium sized supermarket business with focus on AAA customers. It's big challenge was to face a market formed with global companies, two of them on Brazilian's top 10.
To grant the stores’ level of efficiency also for on-line services.
To achieve a business model where AAA customers without computer skills could easily feel attracted by the on-line store.
SOLUTION
Definition of the concept Zona Sul Delivery, a delivery service that could be obtained by Telemarketing, Fax, Email, CD-ROM and Internet.
Implementation of a distributed Delivery Centers strategy with a central control for orders and Customer Services.
Development and management of support software for separation, expedition and delivery of products, implementing a CRM tool to improve individualized Customer Services.
Development and management of a remarkable E-Commerce Solution for the Website.
ACHIEVEMENT
The whole solution was acknowledged on the market (including a PhD thesis on this case) as the best E-Commerce Site on this segment in Brazil.
The operation’s revenue reached the equivalent sum of two physical stores a month.
The website was twice awarded with TOP3 iBest Prize.
